MULTI FUNCTION DISPLAY
ARRIVAL INFORMATION PAGE (STAR)
The Arrival Information Page shows the available
Standard Terminal Arrival (STAR) procedures for the
selected airport. Where multiple transitions or runways
are associated with the arrival procedure, that information
may also be displayed. A map image provides a layout
diagram for each arrival, transition and runway. To
display the Airport Arrival Information Page press the
STAR softkey.
To scroll through the available arrivals:
1. Press the
FMS
knob to activate the cursor.
2. Turn the
large FMS
knob to place the cursor on
the ‘ARRIVAL’ procedure name field.
3. Turn the
small FMS
knob to display a window
of available arrivals for the selected airport.
Continue turning the
FMS
knob to select the
desired arrival.
4. Press the
ENT
key. The cursor moves to the
‘TRANSITION’ field.
5. Turn the
small FMS
knob to display a window
of available transitions. Continue turning the
FMS
knob to select the desired transition.
6. Press the
ENT
key. The cursor moves to the
runway field.
7. Turn the
small FMS
knob to display a window of
available runways. Continue turning the FMS
knob to select the desired runway.
8. Press the
ENT
key. To remove the flashing
cursor, press the
FMS
knob.
NOTE: ‘ALL’ may appear in the runway field,
indicating the arrival procedure applies to all
runways. For airports with parallel runways, ‘B’
may appear at the end of the runway designation
to indicate the arrival procedure applies to both
runways.
