NAV/COM/TRANSPONDER/AUDIO PANEL

ENTER A TRANSPONDER CODE

Press the XPDR Softkey to display the transponder mode selection softkeys.

Press the CODE Softkey to display the transponder code selection softkeys,

for digit entry.

Press the digit softkeys to enter the code in the code ﬁeld. When entering

the code, the next key in sequence must be pressed within 10 seconds, or

the entry is cancelled and restored to the previous code. Five seconds after

the fourth digit has been entered, the transponder code becomes active.

ADF TUNING (OPTIONAL)

Press the ADF/DME Softkey.

Turn the small FMS Knob to enter the ﬁrst digit of the desired ADF

frequency.

Turn the large FMS Knob to select the next desired ﬁeld.

Turn the small FMS Knob to enter the desired number.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the desired ADF frequency is entered.

Press the ENT Key to accept the new frequency.

Press the ENT Key again to transfer the frequency to the active ﬁeld.

Turn the large FMS Knob to select the MODE ﬁeld.

Turn the small FMS Knob to select ANT, ADF, ADF/BFO, or ANT/BFO.

Press the ENT Key to complete the selection.

DME TUNING (OPTIONAL)

Press the ADF/DME

DME Softkey.

Turn the large FMS to select the DME source ﬁeld.

Turn the small FMS Knob to select the desired Nav radio.

Press the ENT Key to complete the selection.
