NOTE: VNV altitudes displayed on the Active
Flightplan Page must be designated for use in
vertical guidance.
The Vertical Deviation and Required Vertical Speed
Indicators appear when vertical guidance is being given
prior to executing an approach (see Figure 2-11). The
Glidepath Indicator appears at a point prior to the
FAF when executing an LPV, LNAV/VNAV, or LNAV+V
approach (see Figure 2-12).

The Glideslope Indicator appears when an ILS approach
has been activated and an ILS is tuned in the active NAV
receiver field (see Figure 2-13).
